Q: What kind of designs can I request?
A: You can request any single design that isn’t copyrighted or trademarked. Since the badges are only 1" in size, simpler designs tend to turn out best and show detail more clearly.
You can choose between a color version or a no-color version (no color will be finished in silver to match the OEM Subaru badges).
Lifestyle badge designs are always in development, so if your request is something commonly asked for in the community (ie sports), a similar design may be released publicly in the future. Custom requests are ideal if you’re looking for something completely unique to you.
Q: How does the custom process work?
A: After placing your order, we will be in contact with you via the email provided to go over your idea or design request. From there the design will be created and finalized with your approval. Failure to respond within 48 hours will automatically result in your order being cancelled.
Q: How long does the custom process take?
A: 1-2 weeks. Depending on the complexity of the design, it can take up to a week to finalize a design. Once your custom badge is ready to be made, it may take an additional week.
Q: Will the badge fade or peel over time?
A: Our badges are designed to look great for years without yellowing or peeling, thanks to UV-resistant, outdoor-rated materials that stand up to sun and weather. In most climates, they’ll perform beautifully for many seasons. In harsher environments, such as extreme heat, high UV exposure, or severe cold, the lifespan may be slightly reduced, but they are still built to last for years.
Q: Can I remove my badge design later?
A: Yes. Like the OEM lifestyle badges, these can also be removed using heat and floss. The double-sided tape will need to be replaced in order to reuse the badge.
Q: Are these badges safe for all weather?
A: Yes, they’re designed to endure rain, snow, heat, and cold without issue for many years.
Q: Will the badges damage my car’s paint?
A: No, the mounts use automotive-grade adhesive that’s strong, safe for your paint, and removable when needed. The badge never touches or rubs against your vehicle’s surface.
Q: Can I cancel my order or change my design request?
A: No, after communication has been made to discuss your design an order cannot be cancelled. Due to the custom nature of this product, changes cannot be made once the design has been worked on and/or approved.
Q: Can I return or exchange my custom lifestyle badge?
A: No, custom orders cannot be refunded or exchanged.
