I bought this to do my first overlay install. I already had/could get easily the other parts of the install kit, but this seemed like an invaluable tool to add and it definitely was! It made the install much easier and I would definitely recommend getting one before your first install.

I have never installed an overlay or decal before but this was pretty easy. Overall it took me about 10-15 min to install both. I had a little bit of trouble with the sharp corner on my first install, but that is user error, not a product issue. The instructions were clear, the process was easy, and the results are nice. I love the little accent of the trees on our rear deflectors. Would definitely recommend.
